Congregational Home, Inc. Hiring For Director of Nursing, SNF at Brookfield, WI  Full Time

This position reports directly to the CEO/Administrator and has a direct line of sight to a robust management team, including a Assistant Director of Nursing / Infection Control Manager, 3 Nurse Care Managers (one of whom functions as a MDS Coordinator).  This position works closely with a number of other supporting departments, including Social Services, Admissions, Life Enrichment, and Human Resources. 

Job Duties of the position include:      

• Provides planning, organization, direction, supervision, and evaluation of all the nursing services provided in the facility; including partnership with Nurse Managers and Human Resources in hiring, evaluating performance, counseling, and disciplining. 
• Ensures nursing department compliance with federal, state and local regulations and implements nursing core programs.
• Maintains records and reports concerning resident care.
• Collaborates, as necessary, in evaluating and interpreting the abilities and probably care needs of Resident applicants for admission and placement.
• Oversees the process of orientation and training of nursing service positions.
• Prepares and monitors the department’s annual budget.

Minimum requirements of this position include:

• Must be a licensed RN in the state of Wisconsin
• Has at least two (2) years of clinical experience in a geriatric, long-term care facility
• Has at least two (2) years of progressive supervisory/management responsibilities
