The Manager, Managed Care Operations has the overall responsibility for the day-to-day operations for the Managed Care Commercial team. You will establish cross-functional processes that will enable the Managed Care Commercial team to drive profitable growth.

Core Responsibilities
Provide Managed Care Administrative support for the Managed Care/Strategic Partnerships Team.
Process all managed care contracts. Ensure copies of contracts are stored in the applicable sites. Understand all terms/conditions in contract; notify all departments of contract requirements as necessary.
Maintain and update the Managed Care Team weekly activities spreadsheet.
Coordinate all managed care data requests. Partner with Finance to deliver accurate and timely analytics for managed care new contract requests.
Partner cross-functionally to develop managed care report repository. Update reports weekly/monthly/quarterly as needed.
Assist with contract fee negotiations with the Managed Care Sales Team.
Coordinate information for the completion of RFP’s
Develop tracking tool to track Managed Care contracts
Partner with Strategic Reimbursement team to ensure all credentialing is completed per contract requirements.
Create standard templates and processes for all managed care data requests.
Cross-functional support for ad-hoc data requests as needed.
Provide support needed for Monthly/Quarterly Customer reports and/or Business Reviews. Generate Summary reports and Graphs as needed for PowerPoint presentations.
Partner with Managed Care Commercial team to prepare quarterly Managed Care business reviews. Review with CFO Clinical and President Clinical.
Requirements
Education: Bachelors required.
5+ years of Managed Care work experience for a laboratory or other Healthcare provider is required.
An understanding of Managed Care for Healthcare providers is also helpful
Prior work experience for a Health Plan is helpful
Must be proficient in Excel. Position requires significant Excel report creation, development, and utilization
PowerPoint Proficiency is a plus
Billing system and SalesForce.com familiarity will be necessary on the job. Experience with the Telcor billing system and SalesForce.com is a huge plus.
Ability to successfully work cross-functionally with other depts. and external customers.
