Join Macy s Digital to grow your career and help shape the future of an iconic brandJob Overview:The Analytics Team enables and empowers the Macys digital organization with analytic insight to support planning, tactical execution, and optimization of the customer experience. The Product Analyst engages daily with key cross-functional teams responsible for driving the digital business and is responsible for supporting the Product Management, User Experience, & Technology teams with reporting and analysis. This role provides insights on website and app behavior to improve the customer experience. The analyst supports Macys.com and Bloomingdales.com A/B and multivariate testing programs by designing and analyzing experiments. The analyst will need to be able to multi-task through stages of multiple projects and be able to deliver quality insights and impactful recommendations on a regular basis to drive business decisions and business growth. Perform other duties as assigned.Essential Functions:Support Product Management, User Experience, & Technology teams in identifying opportunities for improved site functionality and conversion optimization through analytical insights.Develop measurement plans and KPIs for assigned areas of the business to gauge success of experiments and site enhancements. Design experiments, review tagging, validate test data, conduct analysis, report on results, and effectively communicate findings to cross-functional partners.Create actionable recommendations with projected incremental lift to business.Provide project hind-sighting, partner with Product Management and Finance to provide metrics input and assist with quantifying sales drivers from technology enhancements.Dive deep into Adobe Analytics to answer business questions and report findings to key decision makers.Produce ad hoc analysis requested by internal customer teams. Develop and publish reports and dashboards for internal customers.Fully understand and apply capabilities of digital analytics tool to meet business objectives.Help manage and document web analytics projects.Support and train key business partners on digital analytics tool.Stay current on trends and best practices in digital analytics and e-commerce.Regular, dependable attendance and punctuality.Qualifications and Competencies:Bachelor’s Degree from a 4-year college or university2-3 years direct experienceExperience with website and/or digital marketing analytics tools Adobe Analytics preferred. Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Business, Economics or other quantitative field preferred.Ability to understand website tracking, effectively share technical information, communicate technical issues and solutions to all levels of businessAble to juggle multiple projects – can identify primary and secondary objectives, prioritize time and communicate timeline to team membersAbility and desire to take product/project ownershipAbility to think creatively, strategically and technicallyKnowledge of MS Office computer programs are requiredAbility to work a flexible schedule based on department and Company needsThis job description is not all-inclusive, and Macy s Inc. reserves the right to amend this job description at any time.
