Behavioral Health Operations DirectorGenerations Family Health Center, Inc. is a regional community health center covering a thirty-seven town rural region in eastern Connecticut with sites located in Willimantic, Danielson, Norwich and Putnam. Our dedicated staff provides a full range of primary care services to all ages including medical, dental and behavioral health care, as well as care coordination and community outreach. In addition to our main facilities, we offer mobile programs and School Based Health Centers.*
LOCATION: Willimantic, CT (Full-time, 40 hours)**
Job Summary: * The Behavioral Health Operations Director (BHOD) is responsible for oversight of all operations within the Behavioral Health departments across the organization, including the supervision of the applicable Site / Program Managers. This position is responsible for ensuring the health center’s adherence to regulatory, funding source and agency requirements and guidelines. The BHOD is also responsible for oversight of the development and implementation of all new Behavioral Health services, programs, and/or sites. The BHOD is responsible for implementation and occasional development of non-clinical policy and procedures. Maintains administrative oversight of all administrative functions at each behavioral health site, including reception, data entry, customer service, billing and payment collection, and health information procedures. Collaborates with clinical leadership to ensure efficient and effective patient care operations. The BHOD participates in all facility development projects, including all phases of design, construction and operational start-up. The BHOD participates in strategic and operational planning, as a key member of the management team.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in public health, health administration, social work or other related field and minimum five years related experience managing direct care issues and facilities; or equivalent education and related experience. Strong oral and written communications. Must have significant supervisory experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.*
