Vega Transport is a growing full-service transportation company. Our team is composed of service oriented individuals looking to grow together with our organization. We are about to move into our new HQ located in Saint Louis/ South County and staffed with 17 great team members.
Our Operations team is looking for a qualified candidate. Bachelor’s degree and or equivalent work experience. The candidate must possess excellent communication skills and be able develop and maintain working relationships with Customers and Carriers to facilitate efficient and profitable movement of freight.
Responsibilities:
- Review customer lanes to maximize service as well as profitability.
- Enter Shipments into TMS.
- Manage existing customer accounts.
- Ability to prospect and identify leads.
- Understand the carriers needs and abilities when booking driver specific loads.
- Assign freight to drivers and carriers and follow up for each shipment.

- Associates degree or equivalent industry experience

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 – $25.00 per hour
