Arizona RV Service LLC, we are a local RV Repair Service that has been serving the valley for 16 years. We are looking for a full time RV Service Writer.
Experience in the RV industry is preferred however experience in other auto industries will be reviewed. This is a diverse position requiring the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment without sacrificing attention to detail and quality of work.
Excellent spelling and grammar skills needed in order to enter complaints and resolutions onto invoices provided to our customers and warranty administrators. Please show us your skills in your resume.
Must be comfortable in both an office setting and in a shop setting. Looking for a friendly, outgoing, knowledgeable service oriented person with a positive attitude and neat appearance.
Must be detail oriented. Must have drive and initiative. The successful candidate will be computer literate, have knowledge of the usual office equipment: telephone, printer, copier, fax machine and knowledge of Microsoft Office. Knowledge of dealership software is Preferable , IDS G2 or CDK Light speed
The successful candidate will be able to do the following:
– Answer phone calls related to service and assist the caller appropriately
– Communicate effectively with customer, Schedule service appointments
– Write, maintain estimates & tickets in computer system per instructions from Service Manager/Parts Manager
– Keep tickets (repair orders) up to date in the computer system and provide current copies to service technicians. Responsible for accuracy and completeness of tickets, including accurate description of complaint, detailed description of repairs, pertinent notes, warranty/ insurance information, etc. in clear, concise, understandable language
– Ensure parts used are billed on the ticket. Unused parts are deleted from the ticket
– Ensure Service Techs’ time is properly applied and correct – adjust as necessary
– Ensure Billable hours correspond to Tech hours worked – adjust as necessary
– Coordinate with customer for prompt pickup and payment when repairs are completed, follow up as needed
– Responsible for the Service Advisor Calendar and the Dispatching Calendar in our computer system — will keep it updated & maintained with appointments and Service Techs assigned to do the work
– File completed paperwork in an organized system
– Be familiar with the open service tickets. Reasonably know when a repair is scheduled, what parts are on order, who will work on the unit, and any other relevant information
Detailed training will be available to the successful candidate that already has the required skills & knowledge in this area.
