Job Summary

AMP Communications LLC is a national telecommunications company based in NJ. Due to our success and growth, we have immediate openings for Tower Climbers in our rapidly growing Oakland, NJ location. Applicants should demonstrate some mechanical abilities.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Installation of antennas, mounting hardware, installing cable and connectors
• Install, connect and test grounding systems Loading and unloading material, tools, equipment and supplies for work sites
• Identify all materials and other resources needed to complete projects
• Upon completion of safety classes and confidence climbs with safety manager, climbing and performing work on cell towers typically 200 ft.
• Follow all state and federal safety regulations while working in an efficient and productive manner.

Qualifications and Skills

• Must be able to lift >70lbs
• Must have basic knowledge of standard hand tools
• Must be interested in growing and developing in this industry
• Willingness to work at heights of 200 feet
• Ability to work weekends and nights as required
• Valid Driver’s License
• Basic computer literacy
• Ability to pass preliminary drug screening, criminal background check and driving background check
