Parks Dermatology Center is seeking a result-oriented Location Manager with proven success in the medical practice day-to-day operations, and personnel. The ideal candidate would desire to grow within the company.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Interface daily with professional medical staff
Interview, recruits, hires and trains personnel as required to assure efficient and effective office workflow for respective location
Maintains employee personnel files including:
Keep track of Leave Requests-Absenteeism/Tardiness
Incident report form/ Keeps records on file for incident’s
Annual performance reviews
Incident reports, write ups, verbal warnings, citations
Schedules employees planned time off for this location, after discussing with other affected operation managers.
Maintains a weekly employee schedule
Maintain good patient/provider relations including handling patient complaints
Maintain inventory of office
Maintain current knowledge of all insurance policies
“Covers” temporary vacating positions for fellow employees-Front office, Medical assistants
Finds coverage for call ins
Trains employees when needed
Serves on committees and attends meetings and classes as deemed necessary for operation of the clinic
Rectifies all personnel employee problems as they are related to the office efficiency and effectiveness. Assuring documentation with such problems.
HIPAA/OSHA policies
Keeps Practice Manager and physician (s) aware of office activity
Assist in performance evaluations for all pertinent employees 30, 60, 90 days and annual.
Product and sales knowledge
Schedules and organizes events/ lunches. Getting volunteers, scheduling providers, getting samples, brochures, tents, and banners ready.
Facilitate general maintenance at functioning physical offices
Janitorial services
Landscaping
Pest control
Repairs /Maintenance
Garbage
Utilizes, cleaning, of the building, Heating /air conditioning
Shredding of files (Crown Shred)
Assists the physician’s with personal matters as deemed appropriate
Assists the physician’s in any area to optimize his/her time
Proof reads required material pertaining to certain aspects of the practice
Maintain positive morale among office staff in a professional unbiased manor
Attends to errands deemed necessary for the office
Maintain adequate amount of cash in petty cash drawer
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum of five years of experience in medical office management REQUIRED
Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
Ability to carry out duties with minimal supervision
Must be detail oriented
Proven strength in communication skills (verbally and in writing) REQUIRED
Computer proficiency REQUIRED
Experience with oversight of patient flow, staff training and supervision, and customer service
ADDITIONAL SKILLS
Ability to input, access, and retrieve information from a computer system
Capable of supervising staff on site, providing information as requested, implementing changes as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Ability to read, analyze and interpret policies and procedures
Ability to problem solve and use good judgment on a case by case basis
Awareness of resources, referral options and services outside of the facility
Able to work in Volusia and Flagler counties. This position is for our Palm Coast and Orange City offices
