Tahoe Mountain Club Hiring for Bartender – $500 sign on bonus! Job at Truckee, CA Full Time

The bartender stocks the bar and maintains par levels for all bar inventory. The bartender mixes and prepares drinks for servers and also services guests directly.

DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:

• Knows special menu items and descriptions for the day.
• Mixes ordered beverages accurately using recipes approved by the service director. Monitors and maintains cleanliness of the bar, dining areas, wait stations, bathrooms, and sidewalks.
• Sets up the bar at the beginning of each shift and completely restocks at the end of each shift.
• Takes orders directly from guests for food and beverages and serves using proper etiquette.
• Operates food window at the turn; responsible for taking orders from the ninth tee via the phone and insuring that guests needs are serviced through the window in a timely fashion.
• Responsible for collecting all bar glassware sent to the kitchen for cleaning.
• Reports any complaints or problems directly to the service director.
• Responsible for filling daily stock orders for the refreshment cars.
• Counts and balances cash register behind bar at the beginning and end of each shift.
• Will be asked to work on the dining room floor as needed.
• Responsible for cleaning, stocking, and storage of the mobile bar.
• Turns signed weekly tip report into service director. May be asked to close and secure the building at end of the day.

• Other duties, as needed

QUALIFICATIONS:

• General bartending experience preferred but not required.
• State accredited Alcohol Training Certification is required within 30 days of employment.
