Wireless Telecom Designer
Anthem Broadband, Idaho’s largest wireless internet provider, is looking for a talented Wireless Designer to join our team! Primary duties/responsibilities
-Coordinate and develop drawings and details with information from field measurements, photographs, and research completed by project team members.
-Update and modify existing models and construction documents as required.
– Research, coordinate and maintain information via the Internet and/or at local municipalities for documents pertinent to each current project.
-Navigate Municipal & County web sites for building codes, GIS maps and site information.
Skills and Qualifications:
-Experience working with 24/48 volt D/C power systems (negative and positive).
– Architectural / Telecom design – drafting a plus.
– Ability & understanding of scaling and working Annotative Scales.
– Ability & understanding of external references, model & paper space drafting environments.
– Must communicate & function effectively with peers and senior staff in a team environment.
– Attention to detail, quality oriented, able to take constructive suggestions-direction.
– Positive attitude, service oriented with good attendance record.
– Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment a must!
– Additional experience using: Microsoft office; word, excel, Blue Beam &/or Adobe
Computer skills – must have knowledge of computer networking, and wireless technologies. Understanding of packet tracing to aid in troubleshooting.
Customer service– resolve customer network (wireless and/or fiber) or networking issues (routers, switches, and routing protocols) in a prompt and successful manner.
Troubleshooting– Troubleshoot customer and network troubles to completion or escalation to next level of support.
Analytical thinking– Ability to analyze given information about network problems to arrive at real solutions for the customer, be it external or internal.
Problem-solving skills– Ability to diagnosing network troubles and resolve trouble in a prompt and professional manner.
Communication skills – Strong verbal and written communication skills, as it is essential to clearly document customer troubles for quick resolution
Education and Training:
-1 to 3 years on the job experience as a designer.
