Growing local company seeks Accountant for its Lafayette, LA office.
Responsibilities will include processing bi-weekly payroll from start to finish for approx. 130 employees, reporting/filing/ paying all related payroll taxes, performing accounting functions such as journal entries and reconciliations, as well as supporting financial reporting requirements.
QuickBooks and proficient Excel experience strongly preferred.
Ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 2 years accounting experience and be a self starter with an enthusiastic, professional attitude.
Pre-employment requirements consist of valid DL, clear driving record, and a drug & alcohol analysis.
