Looking for an experienced Service Manager to run an efficient and profitable service department through productive staffing, customer retention and expense control while leading a team to successfully achieve monthly and annual goals.
The successful candidate must have a minimum of 3 years experience as a Service Manager in an Automotive dealership environment.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Achieving goals and objectives for the department
- Hire, train, motivate, counsel and monitor the performance of all service department staff
- Follows the OEM programs, processes and procedures
- Monitors and controls the performance of the department using appropriate reports, tracking systems and surveys
- Understands and ensures compliance with manufacturer warranty and policy procedures
- Directs and schedules the activities of all department employees
- Monitors technicians’ daily productivity reports and corresponding payroll records
- Initials all repair orders before submitting them to the warranty department, monitoring for sales and hours relative to expectations
- Establishes and maintains good working relationships with customers to encourage repeat and referral business
- Maintains high-quality service repairs and minimizes comebacks
- Ensures that all customers are greeted promptly and given fair estimates on costs and time required for repairs and maintenance
- Handles customer complaints immediately and with resolution
- Maintains safe work environment
- Strives for harmony and teamwork within the department and with all other departments
- Other tasks as assigned
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
