Job Description

Summary/Objective
LifeCare is currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated candidate to fill a manager role. The success of LifeCare is driven by values, quality work, good customer service skills, and passion. We maintain a Team based environment, modern facilities, and supports services. The successful manager must have a positive professional attitude and be a team player. The manager is responsible to maintain current retail customer as well as manage a fleet of company owned vehicles.
Essential Functions
- Schedule work in and out of the shop.
- Hire, supervise and direct all service technicians and apprentices as approved by Dealer Principal.
- Ensure that all parts, tools, and appropriate time is available for technicians to complete the work.
- Ensure that all employees under their supervision receive the proper training and upgrading of systems.
- Track Technician Productivity.
- Track Open Repair Order Reports and others as directed.
- Responsible for a profitable operation of the service department while gaining maximum production under controllable costs.
- Setting and maintaining profit goals.
- Leads by example.
- Maintains a balance between shop efficiency, labor rates, and expenses.
- Responsible for the cleanliness and safety of the service department and shop.
- All other duties as assigned.

Preferred Education and Experience
- High School Graduate or GED required.
- Previous leadership and management experience preferred.
- Previous supervisor or manager experience.
- Will consider candidates without previous management.
