What You Will Be Doing
We are looking for a passionate Software Engineer to design, develop and install software and hardware solutions.
Ultimately, the role of the Software Engineer is to build high-quality, innovative, and fully performing electronic control solutions that comply with coding standards and technical design.

– Execute full software development life cycle (SDLC)
– Develop flowcharts, layouts, and documentation to identify requirements and solutions
– Write well-designed, testable code
– Produce specifications and determine operational feasibility
– Integrate software and hardware components into a fully functional system
– Develop software & hardware verification plans and quality assurance procedures
– Document and maintain software functionality
– Troubleshoot, debug and diagnose problems with new & existing systems
– Comply with project plans and industry standards including functional safety
– Ensure system design practices align with goals & standards
– Provide manufacturing and field service support/troubleshooting
What You Need for this Position
– Proven work experience as a Software Engineer
– Experience designing interactive UIs
– Ability to develop software and open to learning CodeSys/Cscape programming languages
– Understands web communication and data transmission techniques
– Experience with Off-Highway/On-Highway mobile equipment
– Experience with Electro-Hydraulic Control Systems
– Experience with CAN vehicle communications (i.e. J1939, ISO11783)
– Experience using CANalyzer, CanKing, etc.
– Experience with SolidWorks and AutoCAD
– Experience with test-driven development
– Experience and understanding of commercially available hardware from Eaton, Horner Automation, Danfoss and others
– Experience with DFMEA, SFMEA and Functional Safety
– Proficiency in software engineering tools
– Ability to document machine system requirements and develop hardware/software requirements
– BSc degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant field is a huge plus
