SALES ENGINEER
Position Summary
This position will function in the role of Sales Engineer for large and complex telecommunications solutions. In the Sales Engineer role, the candidate works directly with sales and customers to design network solutions and to support sales process. The greater focus of this position will be toward Enterprise and large account sales and implementation, directly supporting sales in presentations and proposal preparation.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Responsible for supporting the sales and the attainment department revenue objectives through two deliverables:
• Technical and financial assurance. Ensuring that the solution design is a good fit for the customer’s needs and the cost to the customer and the expense to the business

• Supporting the implementation of complex services to reduce the effort required by sales people to manage post sales process, reduce the cycle time from customer approval to service delivery and maximize customer satisfaction.

• Additional responsibility for customer interface and serving as a relied upon resource for sales supporting competitive, technical and applications suitability questions and issues

What You’ll Need:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in telecommunications related engineer or technical support capacity
• College degree or equivalent experience required.
• Experience in a customer facing support role preferred
• Solid background in network services, specifically optical Ethernet services, and a strong understanding of the technology and design elements for those services
• Experience in complex service design and delivery processes
• Hosted PBX experience a plus
