Summary:

The Human Resources Recruiter (HRR) will proactively identify, source, and maintain an active pipeline of qualified professionals for all positions at Urban Adventures Companies. The HRR’s primary function is to actively identify and recruit qualified candidates through social media, company websites, media features, and professional networking. The top talent in today’s modern workforce is not actively searching job boards or responding to job posts. Thus, the HRR must diligently and directly engage working industry professionals daily. The HRR will also post all open positions on the appropriate job boards and social media platforms as a secondary, administrative job function.

The HRR will also perform additional HR and Administrative job functions as assigned. The HRR recognizes the need to maintain confidentiality of all information.

Responsibilities:

Recruiting Support & New Hire Onboarding:

• Post open positions, source, screen, and schedule qualified candidates through all available sources including job boards, social media, networking, and referrals to create a panel of candidates that meet the requirements of the hiring managers.
• Implement sourcing strategies to build and maintain appropriate talent pipeline of qualified candidates to fulfill existing positions and future positions as they are identified.
• Develop talent pipeline through in-person and internet sourcing techniques including social networking, referrals, networking, and cold calling.
• Engage current employees to provide referrals and post job openings on social media.
• Represent company as an employment brand ambassador at schools, career fairs, and networking events to promote employment opportunities.
• Explore important recruitment niches.
• Identify the very best talent across many departments within our organization to assist with filling open positions.
• Work closely with managers to gain a comprehensive understanding of the company’s hiring needs for each position and meet hiring goals and expectations. Train hiring managers on how to properly recruit talent for their respective locations and departments.
• Conduct phone screenings, interviews, and pre-employment steps associated with the hiring process.
• Serve as a key point of contact for candidates and hiring managers throughout the hiring process.

HR Department Support

• Support the day-to-day operations of the human resources department as needed.

Necessary Qualifications:

• Previous HR recruiting experience and proven track record of identifying candidates outside of job postings
• Familiarity with job boards, and HR software, databases, and management systems
• Proven experience conducting various types of interviews (i.e., phone, video, etc.)
• Previous experience supporting an HR department
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and decision-making skills
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational and coordinating skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Must be punctual and have excellent attendance
• Proficient with or ability to learn HRIS system
• Must be reliable, have a positive attitude, and strong work ethic
• Competent in MS office products

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 – $55,000.00 per year
