Responsibilities
Oversees and maintains optimal function of the organization’s internal HR information services systems, which may include end user support, customizations, configuration, maintenance, and upgrades to applications, systems, and modules
Establishes and enforces control procedures that govern technical and functional changes made to HR system production environments
Collaborates with executive leadership and HR staff business leaders to identify needed improvements and enhancements to existing HR information services and databases; recommends and implements solutions in partnership with Information Technology (IT)
Performs consistent reviews of the HR Technology operating model and team structure, identifying and implementing changes in partnership with the IT department to further improve the effectiveness and performance of the department
Manages permissions, access, customizations, and similar system operations and settings for HR services users
Provides support to HR Technology team members for complex issues and requests
Partners with HR leadership to evaluate and prioritize new HR project requests
Assists with the completion of complex data reports, summaries, and logs requested by senior executives, field managers and HR staff
Maintains data integrity in systems by regularly analyzing data
Maintains knowledge of trends and developments in data management and security, HR technology, and HRIS applications
Qualifications
Experience
At least seven years of HR Technology experience required with at least five years in a supervisory position
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Excellent interpersonal and technical support skills
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent project management skills
Familiarity with human resource policies and procedures to ensure the HRIS meets organizational needs and goals
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
Working knowledge of various HR systems. Preferred experience with PeopleSoft, UKG Workforce Central, Taleo and other standalone systems
Thorough understanding of information systems across all areas of HR
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Human Resource Management or other related field is required
