Our Learning Center is currently hiring an experienced TK/K teacher to join our staff. The Center is designed for home-educated students. Our philosophy is to use projects and activities that allow us to both introduce and deepen the learning experience, with activities designed to provide opportunities for students to practice their new skills.
Learning should be both fun! But we also want to provide challenges for our students. So we favor an approach that allows a teacher to differentiate successfully, allowing a child to achieve success and build on their abilities at a pace that is comfortable for them. Our Young Learner series of classes is for ages 4-6 and we do not allow more than 10 students in each class. In these classes, students are taught beginning reading, writing, math, about our community, science and more!
We offer our Young Learners classes Tuesdays through Fridays, with each class lasting 1.5 hours. Students can take 1 class or many classes, depending on their needs.
For this opportunity, we are looking for an experienced teacher for 4 days of TK/K learning, or to share the job with another teacher if that works better!
This opportunity is for IN PERSON teaching only.
Classes start JANUARY 11. Our current teacher is currently unable to teach due to health issues.
Pay is dependent upon the number of students that attend each class, and most of our classes are full. Independent Contractors are welcome to apply but must have a bonafide company with an EIN.
