Confidential Hiring for Staff Accountant Job at Beverly Hills, CA Full Time

Duties include:

• Responsibility for accounting and financial reporting of assigned property and lending entities
• Prepare bank reconciliations, accrual workbooks, profit and loss, balance sheet, cashflow statement, for lending, property and investment entities
• Improve efficiency in cash collections, funds transfers, cash disbursements, mortgage payments and wires
• Month-end account closing activities, and inter-departmental reporting
• Analyze monthly tenant allowance, last month’s rent and security deposit schedules
• Analyze all balance sheet and Income statement accounts for proper coding for Loan Syndication entity and Property entity financials
• Identify issues and inefficiencies related to Accounts Payables, Accounts Receivables, Credit Card and Cash management functions
• Journal activity on complex escrow statements for property entities
• Prepare and analyze monthly bad debt reserve, utilities accrual, property tax and insurance expense, mortgage interest expense
• Create ad hoc excel reports in relation to management requests on regular basis
• Prepare Monthly billing statements for various company entities.
• Administer A/R, A/P.
• Manage Bank and Credit Card Accounts, including monthly reconciliation, wires, transfers, owner distributions and contributions
• Creating Real Estate Schedule, complex consolidated financials, and other materials necessary for the company’s lenders
