This individual will manage our small but mighty Accounting and HR team, working closely with leadership to improve processes and procedures to create efficiencies. Because we are remote, high attention to detail and exceptional written and verbal communication skills are absolutely necessary for our ever-changing workplace. Accounting Responsibilities:
Oversee and assist with high volume monthly invoicing.
Oversee and manage receivables
Oversee and manage payables
Payroll
401(k) transactions and compliance
File quarterly estimated payments
File U.S. Census Bureau’s Annual Service Report
File Workers’ Comp annual audit
Oversee and assist with closing process (monthly and YE)
Serve as primary contact for external accountants
Act as a utility player when needed
HR Responsibilities:
Oversee and administer all employee benefits programs.
Ensure compliance and confidentiality on all personnel matters.
Manage current benefits package and make recommendations for changes.
Assist with recruiting activities (posting positions, pre-screening applicants, and interviewing).
Provide guidance and education in all benefits-related matters for team members.

Required Education and Experience:
B.S. in Accounting
3 to 5 years experience in HR
5+ years experience in an office environment
5+ years management experience
Ad agency experience a plus
Tech Savvy! You must know QBO and be very comfortable with technology. Everything is cloud-based…GSuite, Asana, LastPass, Bill.com, Teams, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Working knowledge of business processes and procedures.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and computer literacy.
Excels at managing and prioritizing high volumes of work.
Accuracy and ATTENTION TO DETAIL.
High-speed internet access required – a speed test will be administered.
What We Offer
Upon being hired:
Equipment required for the position will be provided
Internet reimbursement of $60/month
10 Paid holidays (not including Christmas and New Year’s)
Christmas Shutdown – December 24 until the first business day after New Year’s Day
At the end of your 90-day probationary period:
$1,800 or 50% of employee’s major medical premium annually to help offset the cost of medical insurance.
