KCI MEDIA Hiring for AWS Developer at Remote Full Time

Job Description

The ideal candidate will have a degree in computer science or equivalent and experience in developing augmented reality content with Amazon web services (AWS). This candidate should be able to create a database inside AWS and link to Unity game services This candidate will also work closely with various teams in order to establish best practices, codes to utilize, and ultimately, execute in creating highly functional augmented reality experiences.

Role Responsibilities Include

• Develop AWS backend support
• Integrate AWS 3D assets with Unity augmented reality game services
• Optimizing user experience to facilitate ease-of-use and reduce friction
• Self-project management skills and ability to communicate with team members.
• Thoroughly testing code before deployment and applying development best practices

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor in Computer Science, or a related field
• Passionate about augmented reality and web design.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey trade-offs and choices made
• Experience with designing, implementing, and supporting production applications
• Proficiency with Git or comparable distributed version control tool
• Ability to write robust and easily-maintainable code
• Ability to troubleshoot issues that arise and bring them to a quick resolution

Preferred

• Experience with JavaScript, node.js, React, HTML, XML, Javascript, and other modern libraries
• Experience designing workflows and user interfaces to optimize the user experience
• Experience with Android Studio, Adobe XD, Illustrator, Photoshop or similar
