We are seeking a person who can seamlessly begin working as a property accountant for our commercial property management firm. Below details some of the individual tasks and requirements of this position.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Experience with and a strong understanding of Timberline accounting software and Excel is required.
2. Preparation and analysis of individual property financial statements.
3. Cash management for all properties and operating entity.
4. Bank Statement reconciliations.
5. Set-up and manage all bank accounts.
6. Preparation of escalations for real estate taxes and operating expenses.
7. Assist property managers in budget development.
8. Communicate with clients on distributions, payables, funding, etc.
9. Communicate with tenants on rent payments, late fees, etc.
10. Prepare monthly reporting packages for distribution to clients and property managers.
11. Make daily bank deposits.
12. Track and invoice work orders.
13. Track invoices as required.
14. Input of data into the accounting software system.
15. Assist property managers in the development and tracking of rent rolls and lease abstracts.
16. Create new tenant charges and verify billings for accuracy.
17. Prepare utility billbacks and expense tracking.
18. Assist in special projects as required.
19. Strong organizational skills required.
20. Positive attitude, professionalism, attention to detail, organizational skills and flexibility are some of the traits required for this position.
