The Application Developer is a fulltime position responsible for providing innovative application solutions that meet business needs by translating user requirements into workable programming code.

Essential Functions
Design and develop object-oriented web and desktop applications using relational/non-relational databases
Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
Leverage source control software to ensure best practices for code and change tracking; developing and maintaining the code and documentation as required.
Perform quality assurance and testing of application software; identifying and resolving issues to ensure a high level of performance and security while adhering to coding standards.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field is preferred
Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
Object-oriented programming experience using Microsoft technologies (C#, ASP.Net)
Experience working with SQL databases and queries
Understanding of MVC principles
Experience with code source control software
Experience developing technical documentation and writing standard operating procedures
Highly organized with an ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with excellent follow-through
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment
Excellent analytical and technical problem-solving skills
Experience working within/adhering to formal development methodologies
Strong Microsoft Windows and Office skills including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
