The Director of the Center for Excellence
in Teaching (CET) is a full-time, benefitted, position responsible for advancing, supporting, and leading the College’s continuous
improvement and growth of instructional quality and effectiveness. The Director, CET accomplishes this through providing direction and
leadership for the CET, promoting instructional strategies that maximize student learning outcomes, working with faculty to implement
research-based pedagogies to support successful student learning, build and facilitate faculty development initiatives in the assessment of
institutional, program and course competencies, support the scheduling and delivery of on-site professional development opportunities for
faculty and staff, support and supervise the administration of the College’s Learning Management System, develop and coordinate the
College’s development program and provide continued support for all faculty in the pursuit of continuing contract.

Organizational Relationship:
The Director, CET reports to the Vice President of Academic Affairs. This position
supervises full and part-time staff of the Center for Excellence in Teaching, mentors and supports College Faculty, and has a highly
collaborative relationship with College Deans and multiple campus departments.
Benefits: Approximately 85% of health
insurance premiums paid by the College, the College will contribute 13.19% of the employee’s salary towards their retirement
fund, 21 vacation days, 12 sick days, 2 personal days and 15 paid holidays annually. Typically 5-7 paid holidays from Christmas to New

Administration – support and lead the process for quality and functional operation of the College’s Learning
Management System (LMS) through the following:
Administration of the Center for Excellence in Teaching –
