Job overview and responsibilities
This position supports a variety of administrative, recruiting and project support to the Talent Acquisition team. Serves as the initial contact for applicants throughout the United hiring process. Provides administrative and operational support to the Talent Aquisition team. Participates in the development, implementation and oversight of applications, interview scheduling and hiring process. This individual can be assigned to support corporate or operational recruiting teams and divisions.
Supports sourcing, selection and onboarding processing activities, including:
Collects, enters, and maintains candidate data
Processes pre-placement testing/assessment
Creates and maintains weekly/monthly schedules for pilot interviewers and candidates
Prepares daily interview files for candidates
Extends conditional job offers and coordinates training class placement
Prepares data reports on hiring statistics
Coordinates business travel needs for candidates
Organizes and maintains files for each candidate
Maintains and orders office supplies
Posts jobs on internal posting system via Taleo applicant tracking system
Corresponds with candidates regarding all necessary documents and clearance process
Manages onboarding process for successful candidates
Provides high level of customer service to pilot applicants through greeting and assistance with interview paperwork and document review
Adheres to established processes, procedures, and systems
Interprets standard, administrative procedures and practices
Take initiatives to resolve problems and continuously improve processes
Maintains data integrity in all work processes to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations
Ensures confidentiality and security of applicant data
Process mail, order supplies and other duties as needed by the department
Project work as required
Create interview guides from applicable software
Manage mass hire and bid processes which includes, in addition to sourcing and selection processing activities, scheduling interviews and coordinating training class placement
Required
High School Diploma
2+ recent years customer service, data entry, call center or related administrative experience
Previous recruiting or hiring experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Organization, flexibility and ability to prioritize effectively
Superior customer service skills, outgoing and warm personality
Strong computer skills in MS Office – specifically MS Excel
Working knowledge of Outlook, SharePoint, Adobe, Pilot Records, CCS, Shares(travel reservation system) and Drug Abatement systems
Problem solving and decision making required in an ever changing work environment
Ability to work seamlessly with other Departments as new hires transition through the hiring process and training
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position
Preferred
BA/BS Degree
Flight Operations experience
Staffing experience preferred
Experience using Taleo or other applicant tracking systems (i.e. iCIMS) is preferred
Experience using HRIS platforms (i.e. PeopleSoft and COMPAS)
The salary for this position is $43,730 to $52,000, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience, education and skills. This range is based on a full-time schedule.
