What You’ll Be Doing – The HR Manager has end-to-end HR responsibility for the site(s) and/or function(s) in their scope, supporting multiple leaders, supervisors and employees across business units, functions and geographies. They are seen as the leading HR practitioner and expert in local employment legislation, policies and practices, and act as the key advisor to country employees and unions on matters of employee relations, talent management and HR operations.
The HR Manager partners with business and functional leaders in their area to oversee HR and talent related processes including but not limited to attraction, recruiting, hiring and onboarding of new talent, promotions and transitions throughout the employee lifecycle, terminations, employee relations, strategic workforce planning and talent/performance management. They are responsible for managing relationships with local vendors, as well as the overall management of the processes for which those vendors are engaged, e.g. staffing, medical services, etc. The HR Manager is responsible for collaborating with the HR CoEs in applying key standards and programs such as compensation, benefits, recognition, organization development and the advanced use of HR technologies and analytics throughout the organization. They typically report to HR leadership in the country/region and are an integral part in delivering an outstanding experience to managers and employees throughout the organization.

HR Partner and support to local business & function leadership for the site(s) and/or function(s) (specifically, NA leadership for the Pigments business division including marketing & sales and other commercial positions, including office & lab locations in Southfield, MI)
