We are looking for an energetic and smart Operations manager that can motivate our moving crews through leadership and compassion & provide exceptional customer service to the people trusting us to move their belongings. This position requires management experience, but we are flexible on where that experience came from. Here at TWO MEN AND A TRUCK we want our employees to feel valued and motivated to work hard and be the best they can be, we are looking for a leader who is excited about the company and can turn their own excitement into motivation for their crews and confidence from their customers. As Operations manager you will be held responsible for the moving crews’ overall success. You will be required to communicate effectively with your crews and the customers, manage daily operations, and efficiently and respectfully deal with the crews and customers regarding any problems that may arise.

We need a compassionate leader that can motivate a team of movers while helping them sort out issues as they arise. We also need a good communicator who can speak intelligently and respectfully to customers regarding any issues they have with their move
Reliability/ flexibility
As an Operations manager you will be managing a team of 20-50 people. You must be available and reliable to attend to issues as they arise, this can mean unconventional hours.
Organization
This position requires someone with strong organizational skills that can manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Strong computer skills
Ability to track truck maintenance, inventory, labor costs, employee files, etc.
Preferred attributes:
College degree
We would prefer a candidate with a four-year degree, but recognize that there are qualified individuals with experience that could replace the value of a degree.
Experience as a decision-maker
This position requires on-the-spot decisions throughout the day. We need someone who we can trust to make quality decisions in a stressful environment.
Mediation Skills
Every day mediation skills are required to deal with employee relations as well as customer complaints.
Independence
Our team operates four offices, as a manager you are expected to complete your job duties without being micromanaged.
