Platte River Networks, one of the most awarded IT Service Providers in the Denver area, is adding a Human Resources Generalist to their team!
The HR Generalist performs day-to-day Human Resources activities by providing a broad range of support services to ensure employees, processes, programs, and policies are aligned and optimized to achieve company goals. This position ensures the organization’s current HR requirements are met and the HR strategy is implemented effectively. The HR Generalist also serves as contact for employees and answers questions regarding HR policies and procedures.
Location: Hybrid/in-office/remote
Primary Responsibilities
Coordinates recruitment, interviews, and hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions; manages job postings and applicant tracking system; conducts background checks and employee reference checks.
Manages new hire orientation and onboarding; maintains employee files.
Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
Partners with HR vendors to administer benefits and HR programs.
Performs tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; and training and development.
Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
Performs other duties as assigned.
