Positions in this function are responsible for providing expertise and customer service support to members, customers, and / or providers. Direct phone – based customer interaction to answer and resolve a wide variety of inquiries.
This position is full – time (40 hours / week), Monday – Friday. Employees are required to work our normal business hours of 6:00 AM – 8:00 PM CST / CDT. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional / mandatory / voluntary overtime or weekends.
We offer 2 – 4 weeks of paid training. The hours during training will be 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM CST from Monday – Friday. Training will be conducted virtually from your home.
Primary Responsibilities:
Perform high level research on complex member requests
Maintaining accurate documentation in ORS / Service forms
Meet Quality, Productivity and Attendance requirements
Provide strong example of exemplarily leadership
Ensure satisfaction by providing assistance to providers / members with timely and accurate status updates to their requests
Perform any follow – up work needed for resolving and close requests
Identifying and resolve anticipated member issues to prevent future calls
Maintain proficiency in all technical applications (technical skills and system knowledge)
Comply with all current policies, procedures and workflows
Extensive work experience, possibly in multiple functions.
Work does not usually require established procedures
Works independently
Acts as a resource for others

Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma / GED (or higher)
1+ years of recent customer service experience within Community and State
1+ years of experience with using the MACESS platform
1+ years of experience with using the FACETS platform
Recent experience with using the MAESTRO platform
Ability to work any 8-hour shift between the hours of 6:00 AM – 8:00 PM CST / CDT including the schedule flexibility to work occasional / mandatory / voluntary overtime based on business need
Preferred Qualifications:
2+ years of claims experience within the Community and State
Experience with using RX Claims platform
Experience with Individual Family Plans (IFP)
Telecommuting Requirements:
Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy
Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable)
Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service
Soft Skills:
Effective verbal / written communication skills (i.e., the CRG will be responsible for speaking with providers, members, and other business partners)
Physical and Work Environment:
Extended periods of sitting at a computer and use of hands / fingers across keyboard or mouse
