The Clinical Psychology Department at William James College invites applications for a full-time non-tenure track
Visiting Assistant or Associate Professor position, with the possibility of renewal, to begin in August 2022. The faculty hired for this
position will be expected to teach 16 graduate courses per academic year. The successful candidate must also be able to hold dedicated
office hours, advise graduate students, and participate in committee and scholarly work. Visiting Faculty appointments are expected to last
1-3 years and are appropriate for individuals seeking a time-limited academic position.

Required Qualifications:
Applicants must possess a PsyD. or PhD in Clinical Psychology or
Counseling Psychology, completed an APA-accredited internship, have teaching experience, preferably be licensed or license-eligible in
Massachusetts, and maintain some involvement in clinical practice or consultation. A demonstrated record of scholarly work defined broadly
(e.g., community engagement, educational leadership, innovation, investigation and research) is preferred. Successful applicants will
also have a demonstrated commitment to promoting diversity, inclusion, and multicultural competence in an educational and work environment
and must be willing to contribute to the College’s strategic plan of inclusion. The department welcomes applications from
individuals who may have had nontraditional career paths, or who may have taken time off for family reasons, or who have achieved excellence
in careers outside of academia. Applicants must be able to assume employment in the United States without College Sponsorship.
Responsibilities:
We are seeking candidates with expertise and/or experience in consultation, family and systems
theory, personality and cognitive assessment, neuropsychology, program development and evaluation, or substance use disorders. We are
particularly interested in applicants with interest in addressing disparities in these domains and/or whose work has focused on behavioral
health equity for unserved groups and underserved communities. The successful candidate will teach relevant courses as well as
generalist foundational courses in the Clinical Psychology Department.
