Job Summary:
Plans, develops, recommends, and implements prospective student outreach and recruitment strategies for MHCC. Acts as the primary source of information for prospective students and actively recruits students through participation of various events. Develops relationships with and acts as a liaison to high schools and community groups to schedule presentations and campus tours; coordinates outreach and recruitment activities and events with other departments, programs, and colleges, and arranges faculty and staff attendance at college fairs and community events. Assists students in the development of meaningful education plans that are compatible with career and life goals and curriculum standards. Oversees and facilitates the work of the Student Outreach and Recruitment Team. Oversees the management and data of the college’s customer relationship management system (CRM).

Working Conditions:
Occasional local travel and evening and weekend hours expected. Work is typically performed in a normal office environment working with a variety of people. Booth set-up and take-down is required for college fairs and community outreach events. Work environment can be noisy and crowded with students and staff. Occasional strain to the eyes while working with a computer terminal, in addition to infrequent lifting and carrying of items up to 10 lbs.
Salary:
Initial salary placement will be based on years of relevant full-time equivalent experience at the sole discretion of the College, per the guidelines in the applicable Handbook or Collective Bargaining Agreement. Please include all relevant full and part-time experience in your application that you want the College to review towards potential placement. Hired employees will not have an opportunity to update past experience or appeal initial placement after the time of hire.
