The Salesforce Developer will program and code Litify, a Salesforce-Based software program. The Salesforce Developer will thrive in a hands-on, focused, productive, and team-oriented environment.
Essential Functions
Write high quality code with test coverage that accounts for both positive and negative test cases. Program databases and reports that support the overall needs of the Firm
Understand the application of the Salesforce platform to the Legal Industry
Maintain database software and related reports, updating criteria as necessary
Analyze complex business needs and recommends technical solutions
Ensure the consistency and maintenance of existing or new applications by creating, maintaining, and enforcing standards/procedures for implementing technical solutions
Direct operations in executing production tasks according to a documented schedule that meets or exceeds expectations
Document critical processes and identify potential risks and safeguards
Review all designs, code and unit test plans where applicable
Maintain server, network, and database administration
Act as a back up to IT Technician when needed
Collaborate with the rest of the team in meetings, contributing ideas to help better the code base and processes
Demonstrate the ability to independently problem solve and research solutions
Follow practices and processes that comply with appropriate laws and regulations, meet the company standards, and serve the needs of our clients. This includes a commitment to a process of continuous improvement
Comply with company policies and procedures, including but not limited to, the company’s attendance policy
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience
Expert-level knowledge of Salesforce, and working knowledge of its proprietary languages, including Apex, Aura Components, and Lightning Web Components, or comparable demonstrated experience with client-side development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular, Knockout, etc.)
Experienced in Agile/SCRUM and TDD development methodologies a plus
Two (2) years of experience with SQL
Access and VBA programming a plus
Certification as IT Technician (e.g. CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional), preferred
Proficiency in communicating both verbally and in written form in English
Ability to meet multiple deadlines simultaneously while remaining professional and courteous
Experience in the most current technologies and product used in the industry
Physical Demands, Work Environment and Other Requirements
Position is located in an office setting (THIS IS NOT A WORK FROM HOME POSITION)
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times
Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities
