Who We Are: Best Practices BHOM, LLC is a behavioral health office management organization whose focus and passion is providing clinicians with the support they need to deliver the best possible care to their patients.

Description: We are looking for a highly collaborative individual who possesses a pleasant phone manner, outstanding attention to detail skills, precision in data entry, excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to multi-task and proficiency using computer business applications. As this is a fully remote position, you must be a self-starter. Prior experience in medical practice operations, doctor’s office administration, medical coding and billing, or exposure to healthcare insurance companies is a plus.

We don’t expect you to know it all from day one. If you possess the above capabilities and have a great attitude, we will teach you the rest.

In a Typical Day, You Would:

• Field incoming calls from patients in a fast-paced environment
• Manage administrative functions for multiple health care practices
• Create, edit and/or modify business documents
• Perform data entry with accuracy being of utmost importance
• Coordinate with team members to provide “best in class” support to our clients/health care providers and their patients
• Maintain accurate and precise financial records
• Provide clear and unambiguous communication with clinicians and team members
• Utilize electronic tools and workflows to manage resources
• Maintain patient confidentiality through HIPAA compliance

Other required competencies:

• Proficient with Mac OS and MS Office including SharePoint, Word, Excel, Teams
• Ability to work independently, take initiative and be self-motivated
• Manage competing priorities with a sense of urgency
• Advanced organizational and follow-up skills with exceptional attention to detail and precision
• Professionalism and integrity in all aspects of the job
• Ability to work as a part of a team as well as independently
• Empathy and understanding towards the population we serve

Schedule Requirements:

• 40 hours per week
• Rotating weekend availability
• Available 11:00 am – 8:00 pm EST
