An established accounting firm in Sudbury, MA, seeks a Sr. Accountant of Audit and Accounting with 1+ years audit experience. Tremendous opportunity for advancement in firm. Candidate must be flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced work environment, work well under pressure and be detail oriented.

The Sr. Accountant of Audit and Accounting will be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Preparing audit work papers
• Conducting evaluations of internal controls
• Preparing and reviewing financial statements
• Obtaining supporting documentation
• Preparing individual and corporate tax returns
• Collaborating internally to identify opportunities for improvement for the firm and our clients
• Minimal overnight travel required

The ideal candidate for the Sr. Accountant, Audit and Accounting position should have skills and experience that meet the following requirements:

• Good people skills
• 1+ years experience in the audit role
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills
• Good technical ability
• Prior experience with a CPA firm a plus, but not required
• Familiarity with QuickBooks (Online and Desktop), AdvanceFlow and UltraTax CS a plus, but not required
