WW Advertising Talent Acquisition (WW Ads TA) is focused on recruiting thousands of customer obsessed people to help Ads live out its mission.
As a key member of the leadership team, the Senior Program Manager (PM) will partner closely with Principal Program Manager and Analytics leader for WW Ads TA. In this role, the PM will also partner with the Director’s leadership team and a wide array of Amazon stakeholders, and will be expected to influence and drive decisions, and work with other senior leaders across the broader Amazon PXT organizations.
This position requires superior analytical strength, attention to detail, excellent written and verbal communication, and the ability to synthesize moving parts of the business to drive the business forward. The role demands a strong sense of urgency, the ability to influence and make sound judgement calls, and willingness to roll up your sleeves. The individual will need to effectively work with TA leadership, their direct reports, global partners, Ads Business Ops/Finance and our Central Programs team. The right candidate for the role will possess a strong program management background, and must be able to thrive and succeed in an ever changing environment, and not be hindered by ambiguity or competing priorities.
This role is posted in Seattle but can be conducted from other Amazon office locations, preferably on the West Coast. Other US cities will be considered.
Key job responsibilities
Partner with the TA leadership team to develop and operationalize key recruiting programs
Develop and execute work-backwards plans to ensure key strategic deliverables such as OP1 content and Annual Operating Plans are completed on time to high quality standards
Support timely and quality completion of key inspection deliverables including Weekly, Monthly and Quarterly Business Reviews
Use strong analytical and program management skills to drive process improvement and operational efficiency
Partner with the Senior Program Managers in peer organizations to ensure tight alignment, facilitate best practice sharing, and drive synchronization and collaboration in connection with shared goals and deliverables
Ensure that key actions assigned by PXT or business leadership to the Director and the organization are delegated to the appropriate owners, and track to ensure timely and quality completion
Establish and own execution of mechanisms to facilitate the bi-directional communication between the Director and their organization
• Knowledge of basic data visualization techniques (scatter plots, fit lines, bar charts, time series, etc.)
• Basic knowledge of a data science programming language (R Shiny and/or Python)
• Knowledge of QuickSight
• Knowledge of basic statistical techniques for hypothesis testing or prediction (Correlation, Regression, Logistic Regression, ANOVA, Chi-square, Confidence Interval, etc.)
