Welspun has immediate openings for a HR Generalist.
Welspun’s Little Rock facilities are state-of-the-art and one of its kind in technology for producing pipes for the oil and gas industry. The HFW mill is a fully automatic and integrated mill capable of producing pipes ranging in diameter 6 5/8th inches to 20” and wall thickness from 0.158” to 0.551”.

Job Summary: Administers policies relating to all phases of human resources activity by performing the following duties.
Responsibilities:
· Maintains knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensures policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance.
· Assist in recruiting process, interviews, tests, and selects employees to fill vacant positions.
· Plan and conduct new employee orientation to foster positive attitude toward company goals.
· Keep records of benefits plans participation such as insurance and pension plan, personnel transactions such as hires, promotions, transfers, performance reviews, and terminations, and employee statistics for government reporting.
· Train management in interviewing, hiring, terminations, promotions, performance review, safety, and sexual harassment.
· Advise management in appropriate resolution of employee relations issues.
· Respond to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs.
· Administer performance review program to ensure effectiveness, compliance, and equity within organization.
· Administer benefits programs such as life, health, dental and disability insurances, pension plans, vacation, sick leave, leave of absence, and employee assistance.
· Investigate accidents and prepares reports for insurance carrier.
· Conduct wage surveys within labor market to determine competitive wage rate.
· Additional duties as needed.
Ideal Candidates will have the following Skills:
Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in related Human Resources Management or related field plus two years of related experience/training; OR High School Diploma plus 6 years related experience/training.
