Responsibilities:
Coordinates the various administrative steps in the life cycle of an employee, from new hire onboarding to termination.
Facilitates and schedules new hire onboarding and benefits orientation.
Performs a variety of support activities such as answering phones, mail distribution, responding to requests from other departments and managing the HR email inbox.
Processes all benefit related functions including, enrollments, cancellations, billing, refunds and direct bill as needed.
Manages physical and digital employee records.
Continuously assess workflow, finding opportunities to automate or digitize forms and signatures by leveraging best practices.
Assists with department wellness activities and classes.
Reviews leave requests and assists Leave Specialist with time coding and employee payments.
Special projects and/or other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Requirements:
Minimum two years of office experience, preferably working in Human Resources and HR Systems.
Intermediate experience with Microsoft Word and Excel
Beginner to Intermediate with Microsoft PowerPoint
Workday HCM and Benefits experience preferred
Accurate typing
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong customer relations skills
