Primary Responsibilities:
Manage pre-employment/on-boarding process for non-union new hires, including, but not limited to processing background checks, administering electronic new hire paperwork, and communicating with hiring managers in preparation for the employee s first day.
Present a virtual orientation for assigned new hires.
Process background checks for union employees.
Enter new hires and terminated employees into company s payroll system.
Manage I-9 system (Guardian), including approval of documentation submitted and completion of section two for assigned new hires.
Manage inventory of new hire promotional products.
Assist with personnel data updates in company payroll system
Assist with the company merchandise store.
Respond to unemployment claims for terminated employees.
Assist the HR and Payroll teams with on-going and special projects and tasks.
Participate in weekly L10 and quarterly rock setting meetings.

All other duties as assigned and required.
Required Qualifications:
Excellent record keeping and organizational skills
Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
High level of attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
Education and Experience:
High school diploma required, Bachelor s degree in Human Resources, Business or the like is preferred.
Payroll or new employee on-boarding experience is beneficial.
HRCI or SHRM HR certifications are helpful.
