Summary: The Human Resources Administrator is responsible for performing completing the following tasks including, but not limited to, processing payroll, coordinating benefits, performing hiring and orientations, maintaining personnel files and answering general questions from employees. Also performs other duties as assigned.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Processes payroll by issuing new time cards, entering various data into computer, preparing journal entries, printing and sorting checks and distributing checks.
· Performs other duties by ordering supplies for the company store, maintaining petty cash funds, scheduling office machine maintenance and performing other duties as assigned.
· Coordinates benefits by enrolling new employees, processing all forms, distributing enrollment packets and other paperwork, preparing proper notifications for terminated employees and providing premium data to payroll department.
· Performs hiring and orientation duties by setting appointments for interviews and physicals, preparing orientation packets, coordinating orientation meetings with managers, entering new employee data in computer, making presentations to new employees and answering any questions.
· Maintains personnel files by filing all corresponding paperwork, auditing files for test scores or promotions, noting any change of information in each file and removing terminated employee files.
Minimum Job Requirements:
Education/Certifications:
· High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience:
· Must have at least 1 year of experience in human resources
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
· Must be computer literate and have general office skills.
· Should be proficient with Microsoft Office.
· Must be able to multi-task with good organizational skills in order to meet deadlines.
· Must be able to work well in a team environment.

Working Conditions and Physical Effort:
· Work involves light exposure to unusual elements, such as dirt, dust, fumes, extreme temperatures, humidity, darkness, and/or noise.
· Work environment involves light exposure to physical risks, such as working around mechanical, chemical, and electrical hazards.
· Light physical effort required such as standing, sitting, and walking in and around the office; reaching, climbing, and kneeling as needed; utilizing fine dexterity, the ability to see, hear, and communicate with associates as well as others by utilizing professionally etiquette.
· Personal protective equipment, as defined by C.H. Guenther and Sons, will be provided.
