SLT was founded in 2011 by Amanda Freeman (a serial wellness entrepreneur) and was born from her desire for a workout that was all the things she was looking for in one…reSuLTs-oriented, challenging, efficient, effective, and fun.

The Role:
The Manager of People (HR Generalist) role at SLT oversees all things culture, hiring, and retention oriented. They are responsible for the recruitment and retention of top talent (in alignment with company Core Values), They also oversee the onboarding, offboarding and payroll processes for all SLT employees. The Manager of People recruits, interviews, and hires for all positions in the company. They identify candidates, pre-screen, and audition/interview potential candidates for corporate and studio-specific roles. They also oversee regular communications with the existing SLTeam. They are tasked with managing employee relations practices that foster a positive organizational culture and effective management and growth. They administer pay, benefits and leave, and enforce company policy and procedures. They own company culture and make sure both the company and staff are living by established values. They are a resource to all staff members for sharing their ideas, thoughts, and feelings related to their jobs at SLT.
The Manager of People is passionate about the SLT brand, product, and culture, and is personable, positive, empathetic, caring, and efficient in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
