As a Sr. Manager, HR Business Partner, you will support senior business leaders in multiple functional areas by driving demonstrable business results through improving talent outcomes. You will serve as a trusted and collaborative advisor in providing proactive, practical, and valued HR thought partnership to business leadership while ensuring alignment with Schwab’s corporate culture and business initiatives. HR Business Partners also serve in a key strategic role by leading efforts with HR Centers of Expertise to develop and deliver integrated talent solutions tailored to a client group.

What you are good at
Diagnosing, translating, and defining current and future business needs into an overall integrated strategic HR plan for the client function.
Coordinating and executing strategic HR initiatives for client groups.
Serving as a change agent and member of the client management staff to help drive strategic growth plans and objectives across the organization.
Providing organizational development interventions and support including organization design, leadership transitions, organizational change and the improvement of communication processes.
Assessing organization capabilities by identifying proficiency and talent gaps, ensuring development of people resources and supporting talent assessment and succession plans.
Initiating and maintaining effective communications with senior leaders, providing consultation on matters related to performance management, and offering feedback on style and behaviors to improve employee efficiency and engagement.
Ensuring and maintaining the alignment of all corporate HR initiatives and programs
Implementing and delivering HR programs within the business.
Delivering high quality, proactive HR consultation that enables the attainment of strategic business goals and critical initiatives in light of client growth objectives.
Leading efforts with HR Center of Expertise partners to deliver integrated HR services and solutions tailored to the client group.
What you have
10+ years of experience in Human Resources and 5 years operating as a HR Business Partner supporting senior level executives. Bank or financial services experience is preferred but not required.
Strong executive presence, shown ability to influence and mentor leaders, and outstanding social skills are key.
Ability to handle multiple business teams and contending responsibilities, and pivot quickly based on evolving business needs.
Significant experience with people analytics and using data and reporting to drive strategic decision-making.
Successful history of developing and leading organizational change initiatives that deliver real business results.
Ability to travel as decided by business needs (estimated 5-25%).
Colorado Compensation
Target Total Compensation – 105,000 – 175,000.
