We are looking to hire a new addition as a Full-Time CDL Class B Hazmat Delivery Driver based of out Jacksonville, Florida! Drivers will also need steel toed boots for this position. We are also offering a $1000 hire on bonus that is paid out in two increments of $500. The increments will be paid out at $500 after 90 days of employment and the other $500 will be paid out after 180 days as long as there are no disciplinary actions taken.

Our drivers play an integral role in delivering time-sensitive lifesaving therapies and diagnostics to our customers.

Candidates will need to be available for the following schedule:

Monday: 7:00am-3:00pm

Tuesday: 5:00am-1:00pm

Wednesday: 7:00am until Volume

Thursday: 7:00am until Volume

Friday: 7:00am until Volume

Responsibilities:

• Comply with ICC and DOT regulations daily

• Transport freight from distribution to delivery site without error

• Maintaining a detailed log of working hours in compliance with state and federal regulations

• Completes Hazardous Material shipping orders papers in accordance with DOT/TC Regulations

• Perform inspections of your vehicle prior to and following each trip

• Load and unload freight to and from vehicle using safety perimeters that are put into place

• Securing cargo and properly arranging and balancing it within the vehicle

• Follow delivery schedule and rest at appropriate times

• Maintain detailed driving and delivery logs

• Track and report working hours

• Responsible for counting and recording quantities and styles of product delivered and picked up to ensure accurate paperwork for customer transactions

• Obey all applicable traffic laws and drive according to the weather/road conditions

• Provide a high standard of Customer Service while delivering goods to customers

Qualified applicants meet the following requirements:

• Holds a valid CDL with a hazmat endorsement
• Must be at least 21 years of age

• Possesses a current DOT Medical Card

• Clean driver record with no more than 2 moving violations or at fault accidents in the previous three years

• Open work availability including nights and weekends

• Authorized to work in the United States and will not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.

• Ability to lift up to 85 pounds
