PGS Marketing Hiring for Proofreader/Copywriter – Online Reputation Management Job at Remote Full Time

Are you someone with exceptional attention to detail? Are your grammar skills above average? Do you enjoy reading/writing, or have a strong background in English? PGS Marketing is looking for a proofreader/copywriter to join our advertising team!

The Proofreader/Copywriter will work closely with the Graphic Design department to ensure accuracy and quality in all advertising. Candidates must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and capable of meeting strict deadlines. Majority of clients are auto dealerships, so prior knowledge of the automotive industry is a big advantage. Candidates will edit/proof a wide variety of marketing content – from video to digital to print – and write copy for various advertisements. This candidate will also be involved with Online Reputation Management- reading, writing and responding to client’s reviews on common review sites.

Job Responsibilities

• Proofread assigned projects for grammar, syntax, style consistency and tone.
• Scrutinize text for inconsistencies in treatment of terms, capitalization
• Uphold manufacturer/client standards.
• Keep to project deadlines.
• Work with graphic design team/video production team/project manager to complete tasks accurately and efficiently.
• Write content for various advertisements (i.e. trade magazines, brochures, direct mail, flyers, press releases, business proposals, social media, webpages etc.)
• Reputation Management – will reply to both positive and negative reviews on a variety of review sites (i.e. Google, Yelp, DealerRater, etc.)

Job Requirements

• Superb knowledge of English grammar.
• Knowledge of the auto industry a plus but not required.
• Writing/editing experience
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word.
• Proficiency in InDesign a plus but not required
