Better Way Billing LLC Hiring for Medical Biller Job at Waterford, MI Full Time

Seeking experienced, detail-oriented medical billing AR Specialist with at least 3 years experience for a well-established and family-oriented company. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks that require in-depth evaluation and critical thinking skills. This is an on site position only, not a remote position. We are looking for candidates that possess in-depth knowledge of medical insurance policies. Proficient in CPT/ICD 10 is required. The ideal candidate must also be able to demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must have the ability to work as a team, manage time effectively, and display outstanding problem solving and organizational skills.

• Preparing and submitting medical claims to insurance companies
• Perform complex billing tasks involving account research and analysis
• Track and resolve discrepancies
• Fixing and rebilling front end rejections
• Investigating and appealing denied claims
• Helping patients with billing questions and payment plans
• Managing AR reports
• Working with the billing manager to ensure guidelines, standards, processes and dead lines set by the company are followed
• Conduct duties in a timely and professional manner

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 – $22.00 per hour
