An Accountant at Wild Fork, you will are responsible for the management and reporting of financial data of an organization. Which include preparing financial statements, examining and analyzing a company’s accounts and ensuring compliance with financial reporting and other standard accounting procedures.
Essential Tasks and Responsibilities:
· Acting as an accounting contact for assigned department(s) and assisting managers with the analysis and adjustment of P&L statements
· Reconciling the retail depository and credit card bank statements to the general ledger on a monthly basis
· Reconciling the corporate bank statements to the general ledger on a monthly basis
· Reconciling assigned accounts
· Acting as an Intercompany Account contact for assigned companies
· Assisting the General Accounting Manager with the quarterly and year-end financial audits
· Provides financial information to management by researching and analyzing accounting data; preparing reports.
· Prepares asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
· Documents financial transactions by entering account information.
· Recommends financial actions by analyzing accounting options.
· Summarizes current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports.
· Substantiates financial transactions by auditing documents.
· Maintains accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures.
· Maintains customer confidence and protects operations by keeping financial information confidential.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting, with 1-2 years progressive. Accounting experience preferred
· Proven analytical skills, including the understanding of general accounting principles
· Solid organizational skills, including strong detail orientation and the ability to manage multiple priorities
· Superb communication skills and the ability to communicate at all levels
· Experience with SAP a plus.
