Job Title: Sales Support Specialist, Lead Management

Job Location: Remote. This position can be based anywhere in the Central or West Region

We have an exciting opportunity for a Sales Support Specialist, Lead Management to be a part of our Sales Performance Team. This is a very dynamic and versatile position that requires an outside the box thinker with superior knowledge in Customer Relationship Management (CRM).

In this role, you will be providing support and knowledge directly to our internal customers (US Sales), as well as working with our Head of Sales Support on key initiatives to support US selling efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Generates/acquires lists of prospects across all customer sectors
• Qualifies prospects (as prioritized by Sales Management) on their type/ nature of business, contact data and size of customer needs (products used, volumes, key lanes, regions) to identify their revenue potential
• Responsible for identifying, qualifying and creating leads
• Funnel viable prospects to commercial team
• Conducts campaign calls to prospects if not assigned to a Sales person
• Analyses lead data, provides key metrics to Sales Management on progress
• Captures call information and enters qualification results in the system to generate notifications to lead originators/Sales organization
• Assigns prospects (qualified Sales leads) to the right Sales channel (Key Account or Field Sales)

Skills / Experience:

• 2+ Years Sales Support, Freight Forwarding Experience
• Understanding of the forwarding industry and knowledge on products (AFR/OFR) and business models
• High degree of self-confidence, initiative, and commitment
• Ability to take ownership and proactively drive results
• Solid communication, negotiation and phone skills
• Ability to identify customer needs by gathering information
