SUMMARY
Leads and manages the daily Human Resources functions of the organization including recruiting, on-boarding, benefits & compensation, compliance, employee relations, talent development, and performance management. Acts as the first point-of-contact for employees regarding HR issues and serves as the lead on key HR initiatives and projects.

Minimal physical demands, such as occasional bending and stooping to perform filing, shredding, organizational duties. Occasional walking within the department and throughout the office to attend meetings and meet with employees. Requires frequent computer and phone work. Occasional lifting up to 20 lbs. to move paper boxes and related office supplies. Consistent daily attendance required; occasional off-shift support required.

Generally, will work in climate controlled, smoke-free office environment. Occasionally visits non-climate-controlled production or warehouse area to meet/talk with employees. Will occasionally travel to college campuses for recruiting events and other businesses/conference centers for company-sponsored training/events.
Occasional: activity exists less than 1/3 of the time.
Frequent: activity exists 1/3 and 2/3 of the time.
