Position Overview:
This is a work from home eligible role and candidate may work in any Sutter approved states and must be available to come on site as needed for meetings, etc.
Approved states are: Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Missouri, Montana, Nevada, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas and Utah.
Provides operational leadership to the Shared Services Compensation team. Manages the administration of base pay and focal merit process, job evaluations, and internal and external pay analyses. Ensures base and incentive pay programs are in compliance with plan design. Plans and organizes operations and resources to ensure effective and efficient delivery of services.

EDUCATION
Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma.
Bachelor’s: Human Resources, Business Administration or related field or equivalent education/experience
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AS TYPICALLY ACQUIRED IN:
8 years progressively responsible experience in a compensation administration.
8 years experience of working with multiple processes and serving multiple customers.
8 years experience with job evaluation methods.
8 years experience managing a high volume of activities.
8 years experience with Human Resources (HR) information systems.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
Knowledge of compensation operations, best practices and processes.
Knowledge of applicable wage and hour laws and regulations.
Familiar with current and emerging total reward trends and practices.
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to mentor, motivate and engage team.
Ability to bring individuals together to resolve differences/issues or to achieve a common understanding or acceptance of a solution.
Critical thinking and analytical skills with the ability to identify and analyze trends/issues and to implement solid solutions.
Ability to manage projects, develop plan to accomplish objectives, identify obstacles and resolve operational issues.
Organization and planning skills to effectively delegate, manage and/or re-prioritize activities and projects to meet deadlines wihle delivery quality service and maintaining a high degree of responsiveness.
Displays a customer service focus in all decisions and actions.
Demonstrates a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues to manage/minimize risks.
Ability to establish trust and credibility, and to interact and maintain effective working relationships with those contacted in the performance of role’s duties while respecting cultural and linguistic differences and fostering an inclusive work environment.
Ability to communicate through verbal and written means, and to present information to a variety of audiences.
