At Hillcrest Hospital Claremore, we’re proud to offer advanced services right here at home – from our Peggy V. Helmerich Birthing Center, to outpatient surgeries and preventative care. And when you need emergency care, our 24/7 emergency physician -staffed ER is right where you want it to be – close by- to give you prompt medical treatment. This position is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating and documenting all care activities in order to deliver efficient, effective and quality patient care.
Responsibilities
- The RN also must demonstrate the knowledge and skills needed to provide age-appropriate care, based on the assigned unit.
- This includes a thorough understanding of the principles of growth and development over the life span, along with the ability to assess/interpret issues relative to an individual patient’s status and age-specific needs.
- This position will adhere to all policies, procedures and regulations to ensure patient safety and compliance.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current license as a Registered Nurse in the State of Oklahoma.
- BLS certification required, ACLS must be obtained within first year of employment, Two or more current years of acute care experience as a RN preferable ER nursing.
- Must be able to provide nursing care to patients pediatrics to geriatric, demonstrate leadership and teaching
