REMOTE HEDIS COORDINATOR (Contract)

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 6 months+ of previous HEDIS experience strongly preferred
• At minimum, medical record and/or relevant experience required
• Familiarity with medical terminology
• Basic excel skills and ability to type 30-40 WPM
• Time sensitive project-minimal time off during season
• Must have quiet space to work and good internet

Job Overview:

• This position will involve making phone calls to provider offices, sending request packets, and following through until the requested information is obtained.
• Some research will be required as well as the ability to adapt to new situations based on the information obtained.
• Responsible for providing administrative and telephonic support for department working on a data collection project in a fast-paced environment in order to meet deadlines within the project.
• Communicate directly with provider offices in pursuit process by requesting medical record information and coordinating the exchange of files

Work Environment:

• Remote – equipment provided
• Hours: Monday-Friday – 8:30AM-6:00PM
